CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week off with an interesting note of people getting on the same page.
It’s not something that happens often in Genoa City, and we’re curious and surprised how it took everyone weeks to months to realize Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was kidnapped, not to mention start moving on that belief.

So, everyone concerned decided it was wise until Mariah’s in the final lap of her pregnancy to actively start looking for her.
Not that we’re surprised given how everyone involved has been more or less selfish and making it about them, but now that they’re moving some powerful resources are going to be put to work.
The biggest and most powerful will come from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as he’ll offer what he can, meaning they should find Mariah in a couple of days because he’s Victor.
We have a feeling this will cause more trauma for Mariah’s captor than anything thus far, and he’ll make a mistake any time now.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 20: Devon asks for Denise Tolliver’s help
It’s been a while, but Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) will return as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) turns his attention from bashing Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and to finding Mariah.
To do that, he’s going to ask the investigator to help him, and we doubt she’ll say no.
So now that qualified people will be looking for Mariah from different angles, it’s only a matter of time before Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) finds her and becomes the temporary hero of Genoa City.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 20: Sally’s warned
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has a habit of fighting back from anything that’s set her back, and she’s going to be handed another opportunity for a shortcut.
It’ll be accidental, but Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will warn her about Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) and what getting mixed up with her could mean.
We don’t think that Sally’s looking for a short cut per se, but some payback would be nice, so there’s a chance she’ll seek out Gloria for one reason or another.
More likely, ‘Young and the Restless’ think Sally will accidentally cross her path and Gloria will do her usual thing and either annoy Sally or get her support for some scheme.
However this works out, we don’t see anything good coming from this at the moment, but things change.
