Lauren Burnham has let her fans know that she is well after she was hospitalised with an infection leaving her children without their mother.

Lauren, for her part, confirmed that she had been diagnosed with Mastitis. This is a condition where the breasts become inflamed, and it has a bearing on those who are breastfeeding. As a result, the person can suffer from fever or even chills. And no one was more concerned than her husband, Arie Luyendyk Jr.
At the time of the incident, he was struggling to deal with it especially since the couple had just recently welcomed their twins. In a post on Instagram, he had said: “Not good. Mastitis is getting worse on antibiotics. Hate this for her…IV, antibiotics and scans for any abscess. She’s been through a lot this week.”
Nevertheless, Lauren remained positive through all this. And it paid off as she gave fans a hopeful message. In the picture here, we can see some ice packs stuffed on her breasts. She is lying in bed with a grin on her face.
The post was captioned with the following comments: “Feeling so much better today. Thank you for all the well wishes. Love you guys! For those of you confused by this pic lol….in the hospital for antibiotic-resistant Mastitis.” While Lauren may be getting better, Aerie has been left in charge of the children.
It is not to say that he is not enjoying spending more quality time with them, but the prospect of looking after newborn twins on his own has gotten him feeling a little stressed. And he made no secret of his struggles. He added: “Really tough last few days. Lauren is struggling with Mastitis. I was up all weekend with the babies. Surviving over here, haha.”
With Arie stepping up to the plate, Lauren could not have anyone better by her side. And with time, she is on course to make a full recovery. As for Arie, he will have to persevere a little longer in making sure that the children are fine. And we wish Lauren the best in her recovery.
