You would think that Kylie Jenner would be all blissed out over having a play written about her and it playing sold out shows in London’s West End, but this play has possibly the most unflattering title ever, and that’s putting it nicely. They actually titled the play “The seven methods of killing Kylie Jenner”, yup that’s right folks.
There is a play dedicated to killing Kylie Jenner – let’s just hope no potential stalkers live in London because the play is about a girl that goes on a twitter tirade about how she would kill the youngest member of the KarJenner clan, including poison, drowning, and disgrace.
Uh, wow, could you be a little more specific?
The play is about a young, black, queer woman who has just been dumped. The play takes place shortly after Kylie was named youngest female billionaire on the Forbes list, which I guess could inspite some envy but I digress. This play, written by Jasmine Lee Jones, had a sellout run in 2019, and is going to have yet another run starting in July.
Jones has won an Evening Standard Award as well as a Critic’s Circle theater award for this play – wow. Despite the play’s disturbing title (and some of its content) it is ultimately written as a comedy. “Through comedy, you can get people to listen in a different way.” says Jones, in an interview with The Guardian, about the piece.
She also said of the project that she actually wanted it to replicate how sometimes, when you’re talking with your friends that you can be discussing something so serious and suddenly, one friend will interject and the whole tone of the conversation will change.
Like real friends do. Kylie or the rest of the Kar-Jenner clan has not actually commented on the project yet, and chances are they probably won’t, it just doesn’t seem like this would be something that would show up on their radar, perhaps if they were actually living in London? But if anyone is in London and happens to be interested, the play is happening in the Royal Court Theater. Stay tuned!!!
