‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) has deleted a social media post that spoke about our agriculture system after being called out in the comments. We covered the post last month, and how the negative comments he received.

The post remained up for a while, but recently it seems that it’s been removed after a recent influx of family photos and videos. The post was an image of Mark Hyman’s post below. Unfortunately for Thompson, the guns got turned on him.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) Deletes Social Media Post Criticizing Agriculture

One person wrote, “So I’m assuming everyone makes your salary and can afford over priced food! As a poultry farmer my self I know the regulations put on us and the care we give not only give our animals but the land we farm on maybe you should leave the small tract of land you call home and see how we take care of the animals and land. Most people have no idea where there food come from, like it magically appears. A lot of blood sweat and tears goes into producing almost everything that we consume!”

That was just one. Soon, a ton of others joined in and went out on Thompson. It appeared most of them were farmers and accused Thompson of having no idea what he was talking about.

We’re not entirely sure when or why he decided to take it down, but he’s deleted it now. It makes us wonder why he did after so long.

What do you think? Was it a good idea to delete the post or do you think it’s a little odd he waited so long? Let us know in the comments below.
