Lala Kent has confirmed that her fiance Randall Emmett is ready to have another child, despite the pair only just giving birth to their daughter Ocean.
‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent And Randall Emmett Want To Have Another Baby
The star of Vanderpump Rules welcomed the arrival of her daughter just two months ago. Lala was very vocal about the struggles of her first pregnancy, but it seems Randall is ready to support Lala’s commitment to giving it another go. During an interview with Amazon Livestream, she spoke on how the conversation went. She said: “I thought I was gonna have to fight so hard to get baby No. 2.
“Randall two days ago was like, ‘I think I’m ready to start trying again.” So how did Lala take that response? Well, she was taken aback by the direct nature of Randall’s response. That is not to say that she does not want any other children: far from it. But rather, she remembers the difficulties of her first pregnancy.
She had experienced bleeding and problems in her placenta that could have jeopardised the birth of the baby. That is why she wants to fully heal before she has another go at it. She added: “I was like, ‘I’m still trying to get my bounce back bod on. It doesn’t have to be right away because I am just so in love, and I want to enjoy [Ocean] for as long as possible.”
One of the reasons why Randall may be in a rush to do it is the significant age gap between the pair. Lala is in her thirties, while Randall is in his fifties. Although Lala still has plenty of time on her side, the same cannot be said for Randall, who is not getting any younger. She continued: “Randall says, ‘You’re so young.’ And I’m like, ‘You’re not. [I don’t want him] to be 90 years old walking into [our] son or daughter’s high school graduation.”
With the pair enjoying their time as parents, it is only a matter of time before they decide to have another baby. The only question remaining from the fans is will it happen? We will have to see how this will all play out.
