Anna Paquin has blasted trolls who have mocked the LGBTQIA movement in light of her own sexuality.

The uproar started after Anna made a post to commemorate International Day Against Homophobia Transphobia and Biphobia. In the photo, we can see Anna’s support for the cause. The post was captioned by the following comments: “As always sending love to my #lgbtqia+ siblings.” The response to the image became very hostile.
People began to mock such relationships, which was even more turbulent in light of Anna’s own struggles in coming out as bisexual. Her critics threw shade at the fact that Anna is married to a man, even though she labels herself as bisexual. In response, she blasted the trolls. She remarked: “I’m a #proudbisexual who is married to a wonderful human who happens to be a man.
“If he doesn’t have a problem with it, why should anyone else?” Those sentiments have been made very clear by Anna in the past. People have criticised her for not labelling herself as heterosexual because she dates men. However, during a previous post on Instagram, she cleared up any misunderstandings people may have had.
She said: “Bisexual women dating men are still bisexual. Bisexual men dating women are still bisexual.” Anna is all too aware of these difficulties ever since her marriage to Stephen Moyer. Just over a decade ago, she dropped the major bombshell over her sexuality during the first year of their marriage. This could have threatened to end the relationship for good, but it did not do that one bit.
The couple went on to have two kids (Poppy and Charlie), and their relationship has continued to go on strong ever since. Stephen, for his part, also does not see it as a problem. He was previously asked about how it had impacted his relationship with Anna.
Rather than providing an answer that would have highlighted some adjustments that he has had to make, he simply distanced himself from any controversy. During an interview with Playboy magazine at the time, he said: “It’s her business to talk about it, not mine. It doesn’t change anything.”
