Rumours have been circulating that the duo may be set to reunite following their respective splits. Jennifer, for her part, recently left Alex Rodriguez. At the same time, Ben walked away from Anna de Armas. But now Jennifer confirmed they are an item. In an interview on the Bitch Bible podcast, Jennifer said: “Breaking f–king news! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together.
“They’re in Montana. They are on vacation with each other right now. “I’m so excited. I’m so happy for them.” The two had been engaged since the early 2000s, and while they would go on to part ways, they still held a high level of admiration for each other. They continued to remain friends, and Ben was very vocal about Jennfier’s improvements as an actress.
Sources confirmed that the two could have another crack at their romance. A source revealed: “It was just the two of them on vacation together. Big Sky is a special place to Ben. They looked very happy together.” One person who has not been happy by the news is Alex. He had still been holding out for a reconciliation, given that he and Jennifer had been on course to get married.
An insider stated: “Alex was jealous that Jen and Ben were seeing each other.” Not only that, Alex’s children held Jennifer in high regard too. As a reunion no longer looks like a possibility, the road is clear for Ben and Jennifer. And yet, there are still some warning signs to be aware of. Although Jennifer and Ben have matured since their first romance, they have to be careful about not rushing into things.
They have a long list of relationship failures, and they are unlikely to be able to continue operating in the same manner. They are not getting any younger, nor are their respective kids wanting to deal with more instability. Let us hope they have learnt from the mistakes made during their first hook up. We will have to see how it all plays out.
