Carrie Ann Inaba has confirmed that she has broken up with Fabien Viteri.

The star, who happens to be a judge on Dancing with the Stars, had been dating Fabian since 2020. There were concerns that the duo may not be on the same page, given the age gap between them. And now those worries have been confirmed, as the split has left Carrie with a lot of pain. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she confirmed that the separation has deeply affected her.
She said: “I am single. Again. I am also … grateful for what was confused. Uncertain of the future. Sad. Hopeful. Trying to allow the emotions. Trying to be strong…And I will survive this.” It has been a rough period for Carrie, especially since she had to take a break from her other job as co-host on The Talk. Her health had taken a severe decline, as she was very open about the battle she has been going through with autoimmune diseases.
Some of these included rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and vasculitis. Not only that, Carrie had suffered from covid at the back end of last year. In a statement given at the time of her departure, she stated: “I have decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on my wellbeing. I know you guys understand health is the most important thing.”
Carrie has now been left to deal with her health issues all by herself. And her love life, just like her health, has taken a severe beating. The star has had to deal with numerous heartbreaks in the past. She previously hooked up with Artem Chigvintsev, and the pair dated for around three years. Just when engagement seemed on the cards, they broke up.
In addition to that, Carrie would end up getting engaged to Jesse Sloan before parting ways. The same story happened with Robb Derringer, as the engagement lasted less than a year. But as history shows us with Carrie, she is able to move on and put her troubles behind her. That is what we expect to happen again, and her fans will be there to support her every step of the way.
