‘Tiger King’ star John Finlay, once famously ‘married’ to Joe Exotic in a three way gay wedding, has found “real love” with new wife, Stormey.
Finlay rose to fame on Netflix’s insanely popular docuseries Tiger King. First introduced as Exotic’s boyfriend and muse, he wed the lip-synching, grudge-toting, big-cat-abusing zoo owner in a polygamous wedding, along with Travis Maldonado.
Addicted to crystal meth at the time, Finlay claims the gay wedding featured in the series was both fake and humiliating.

The 37-year-old now insists his wedding with Stormey, delayed by the pandemic until this month, is his first legal marriage ceremony.
“My wedding (to Stormey) was the happiest day of my life. I had no idea what it is like to marry your rock, your soulmate, the person you spend every minute of the day with,” Finlay gushed. “Stormey completes me and we are deeply in love.”
Now clean from the drugs and with a full set of teeth, Finlay’s next objective is to remove or cover the tattoos featuring his ‘ex-husband’s’ name.
“It’s bad when you’ve got some-one’s name tattooed down there right next to your private area,” Finlay said, referring to the inking which Exotic insisted his drug-addled boyfriend get just above his groin. It reads ‘Privately Owned By Joe Exotic’.
That specific tattoo has already been covered by an angry bull’s head.
Four more tattoos remain scored onto Finlay’s body that feature Exotic’s name, including “Joe” on his right pec and “For My Husband, Joe” on his bicep.
Finlay, who met Exotic when he was a teenager, has cut off all contact from the 58-year-old, now serving a 22 year prison sentence. The pair officially separated back in 2015.
Finlay had no comment on the death of 23-year-old Travis Maldonado, who accidentally shot himself, the fatality caught on camera from the perspective of another man in the same room, witnessing the awful event.
When asked if he’d be a part of the second Tiger King series, Finlay said he’d be interested. “I was happy to be a part of the first one,” he claimed but added that he has not been contacted by producers.
The 37-year-old is now living in wedded bliss, working as a welder and tending the horses and chickens on his Oklahoma farm. The married couple own a cat. A domestic house cat.
