Yes, you read that correctly. Caitlyn Jenner, who herself is trans has come out in defense of young girls everywhere. Jenner is a former Olympic athlete and reality TV star who first announced her own transition from Bruce Jenner in an interview back in April of 2015. She is now running for the Governor of California.
In an interview with Disclose.tv, that was posted to Twitter, Jenner says it’s a matter of fairness. Take a look at the clip below.

Caitlyn Jenner Supports The Banning Of Trans Girls From Girls Sports
When asked, Jenner responded,
“Question of fairness. That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports in our school.”
Jenner is in a unique position for this topic, having been an Olympic-level male athlete before transitioning to Caitlyn. She would have first-hand experience in the world of sports and male vs. female biology. That’s what makes her comments so interesting to the rest of the population who have been having this conversation back and forth over the last few years.
As a former athlete myself, my opinion is that it should remain separated and a male-born trans-girl shouldn’t be allowed to play in girls’ sports. It’s not just about contact, but reaction time, speed, agility, muscle strength and so many other biological changes that males have an upper hand in. Of course, that’s my opinion based on my experiences playing sports in high school and college.
Jenner has even more experience and firsthand experiences with being trans. It makes for an interesting discussion and one that a lot of people probably didn’t see coming from her.
