A judge ruled this week that Wade Robson cannot sue Michael Jackson’s businesses over the childhood molestation he allegedly suffered at the hands of the late King of Pop

Leaving Neverland, a BAFTA and Emmy winning documentary exposed Robson’s sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson. Even with his case against for MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures dismissed, yet again, Robson and his team plan to appeal the decision.

Court Dismisses Wade Robson’s lawsuit against Michael Jackson’s Estate…Again.

Fans of MJ took to twitter with the hashtag #MJInnocent , however, this case wasn’t exactly about the sexual assault allegations, but more about the part the companies played in NOT protecting the children who would visit Michael and often stay at the Neverland Ranch.

Judge Mark A. Young, the same judge ruled against fellow accuser James Safechuck on similar grounds last year, dismissed Robson’s latest lawsuit by ruling that the companies were not legally obligated to protect boys from any abuse and did not have the legal ability to control the popstar’s behavior.

While the judge agreed that MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures had no legal duty for them to protect him from the alleged molestation, it does not exonerate Jackson completely. However, Jackson’s family, who have denied all claims made against the late superstar and labelled the Leaving Neverland documentary a “public lynching” welcomed the judge’s decision.

A lawyer on Jackson’s team agreed, telling TMZ, “Wade Robson has spent the last 8 years pursuing frivolous claims in different lawsuits against Michael Jackson’s estate and companies associated with it.”

The lawyer continued,” Robson has taken nearly three dozen depositions and inspected and presented hundreds of thousands of documents trying to prove his claims, yet a Judge has once again ruled that Robson’s claims have no merit whatsoever, that no trial is necessary and that his latest case is dismissed.”

Meanwhile, Robson’s legal team suggest the ruling contains “fatal flaws” and  sets “a dangerous precedent” that will leave children in the entertainment industry vulnerable to sexual abuse. Robson’s team vow taking the case “to the Supreme Court if necessary”.
