Josh Duggar and Anna Duggar have let their fans know that the couple are expecting to have another baby.

The duo, known for being on 19 Kids and Counting, already have a mammoth six kids to their name, but that is not slowing down their plans anytime soon. In a video posted on Instagram, we can see the couple are standing next to each other with an umbrella held above them. As they held up the umbrella, pink confetti began to fall down, as their kids ran behind them.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “It’s a GIRL!!!!! We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way, and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!” So what was the reaction to the news? The children are understandably going to be excited. After all, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason and Maryella are going to have another sibling to play with.
As for the adults within the family, they could not contain their excitement too. Joy Duggar wrote: “Another girl!!! Congratulations!!!,” while said: “So excited for you all!” Despite the happiness on the surface, the couple have not had the best of times. They had to overcome numerous problems, one of which was an accusation of molestation made against Josh.
He was accused of molesting multiple girls during his teenage years. While that may have been enough to send the alarm bells ringing, things began to get worse. He had also been unfaithful, and the embarrassment of it all forced him to publicly apologise. Nevertheless, the family became stronger after that.
They managed to huddle together and stay close to those who had their best interests at heart. Josh’s sister Jinger Duggar previously told Us Weekly how the scandal united the whole family.
She said: “Our family was way closer because of that, and in spite of that, I guess you’d say…I think even everything that happens in our lives. It makes it more challenging because then it’s not just dealing with these things inwardly, but you have to give an answer to the world.”
