Rachael Kirkconnell has been left devastated as Matt James seems to have moved on with another woman.

This should come as no surprise, given the severity of Rachael’s conduct and the natural backlash that would have followed had they gotten back together. That has not stopped Rachael from feeling heartbroken as she thought Matt was on the same page. A source told Us Weekly: “There seems to just be a big miscommunication between them.”
The duo had been communicating for some time after the show. While it was unclear as to the motivations behind the talks, Rachael felt that Matt still had feelings for her. Sadly, it was not the case. Another source said: “Rachael is very emotional right now because she was very hopeful that things were going to work out. She’s still trying to process this. [It] doesn’t seem like they will be getting back together.”
So why did Matt meet Rachael then? In hindsight, it seemed he was focused on educating Rachael following her promise to learn more about the harmful consequences behind her social media activity. They were spotted hanging out in New York, which led to the initial rumours of a reconciliation. But insiders confirmed that the meeting was meant to be a clandestine one: “They wanted to keep it a secret.
“But they got caught walking around the city…Matt was not looking for a romantic relationship with Rachael after he ended it with her. He’s tried to make it clear to her.” On reflection, we must give Matt some credit, given he let Rachael down gently rather than merely throw her under the bus.
He had every reason to completely block Rachael out, but he took his time to make sure that she was a good place before making his feelings clear. So, where does Matt go from here? By the sounds of it, he has already moved on with another woman. And this was the final nail in the coffin for Rachael. A source revealed: “[Matt was] talking to another girl [during his visit to see Rachael in New York.”
