So far Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith are the only announced couple to join the spin-off for the first time, but TLC have promised there will be three more couples joining this group. It seems likely they haven’t been revealed yet as they are currently still on our screens on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé.
Still, it didn’t seem to be enough for disillusioned fans, especially those who took issue at abusers like Andrei and Angela retaining their platforms.
Speculation has run wild as to how TLC came to choose this worn-out group. Some fans, disgruntled that the 90 Day content has been split between cable channel TLC and paid streaming platform Discovery +, believe that the franchise is keeping its better content for Discovery +, hoping more loyal fans will cough up the cash to see their favorites on screen.
Others think the couples selected were the only ones who were willing to come back to the franchise as they needed the paychecks.
Some less embittered fans think that Covid restrictions may have had a hand in who TLC crews could and couldn’t follow.
No matter what the reasoning, we all know we will be tuning in again come April 25th, whether you are happy about the thus-far revealed cast,
Or found it a bitter pill to swallow.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After will premier April 25 on TLC with the ever popular Pillow Talk back on the cable channel and following the HEA broadcast!
