‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Rachel Lindsay Has Forgiven Chris Harrison

In an interview with Extra, Lindsay spoke on how it was time to put the whole affair into the past. She said: “I do accept the apology. And I think it’s important for me to say that because I haven’t really talked about, you know, Chris and the statement because I’m not trying to make this a Chris vs Rachel.”

“We need to move forward. And for me, for us to move forward, I need to accept the apology, so we can all be better from this situation, which is what we want.” Rachel, for her part, also praised Chris for the fact that he defended her due to the harassment she had experienced in the aftermath of the scandal. This caused Rachel to leave Instagram, much to the shock of fans.

She added: “The fact that he did address the harassment and the hate that I’ve been receiving, I really appreciate that.” And by the looks of it, Chris is looking to put it behind him as well. He has already apologized and stepped back from his hosting role on The Bachelor in an attempt to make amends. In an interview with Good Morning America, he said: “I believe that mistake doesn’t reflect who I am or what I stand for.

“I am committed to progress, not just for myself, also for the franchise. And this is a franchise that has been a part of my life for the better part of 20 years, and I love it.” With the dust beginning to settle down, what does Rachel hope for the future? She has stressed that the show needs to evolve and educate everyone.

She continued: “In 2020, it was all about people realizing things that they hadn’t before. It was a level of awareness that was created that people hadn’t necessarily recognized.” With both sides having put this behind them, they can move onto bigger and better things. Let us also hope that the show can address such issues in the future.
