It has been a crazy week for Married at First Sight and there has been a lot of speculation concerning the baby mama drama. One of the matchmakers on the show is finally coming out and opening up about their choices to match Chris Williams and Paige Banks.
The matchmakers take a lot into account when they partner up the couples. No one knew that this drama would come out, but now, Dr. Viviana Coles is explaining her thoughts on the situation.
‘Married at First Sight’ Spoilers: Dr. Coles Opens Up
Dr. Coles is one of the experts that helps to set the couples up based on their personality and questionnaires. They never want to match them and see drama getting started with them. That is not their intention at all. They just want people to get married and have a happy and loving partnership.
She told fans, “I can unequivocally tell you that is never a concern for us. There have been couples who we thought were 100%- as much as we can say that, on paper, side by side, and meeting them single- head over heels in love with each other, and they were explosive, nasty, and really degreading.”
Things really got complicated when Chris decided that he had to tell Paige that his ex-fiance was pregnant with his baby. He dropped this one her after being married for three days. He told her at breakfast, “I got a lot of s***t going on.
I found out some information this morning. It is, I won’t say devastating, but it’s something I have to deal with.” Williams has already started a lot of controversy after he told cameras that he wants his wife to be submissive and he broke up with his ex-fiance just three months before going on Married at First Sight.
Coles told fans, “Sometimes we think, ‘who are these people?’ If we would actually try to make that happen and create explosive train wrecks, I actually feel like it could be beyond dangerous- not just emotionally, but even physically. We try to avoid that as much as possible. I hope the reward is a lot of internal introspection, a lot of self-love, self-understanding, self-acceptance, and moving on to have a better relationship or possibly marriage, because lots of people go on to have amazing marriages beyond this.”
We really do hope that Paige and Chris can learn to love one another and be in this marriage together.
