Sam Asghari, who is the boyfriend of Britney Spears, has opened up on Britney’s conservatorship controversy following the release of her new documentary, Framing Britney Spears.
Sam Asghari Speaks On Britney’s Conservatorship
He told People Magazine how Britney would continue to have the support she needs: “I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves. I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together.”
So how did the two meet? Well, they came across each other at a party in 2016 and immediately hit it off. And by all accounts, things are going as well as they can be. A source told Us Weekly: “Sam has been an absolute dream come true for Britney. He is such a positive light in her life.” And yet, Britney continues to face claims that she is not well enough to make her own life decisions.
The singer is currently not able to spend her money unless it is authorised by her father Jamie Spears. Britney has continued to contest this in court. Her lawyer confirmed: “She is afraid of her father [and “will not perform again if her father is in charge of her career.” So what does Jamie think of it all?Well, according to sources, he does not believe that he has done anything wrong:
“Jamie wants to remain as her conservator because he has served in the role for the last 13 years. He doesn’t need the money and could be exploiting her for millions of dollars, but he has never done that. The idea that he is living this grand lifestyle at the expense of Britney’s health is laughable.”
So the question remains is Britney well enough to be independent? A source said: “There has been significant improvement in Britney’s overall medical treatment plan, which has been attributed to no longer having her father in charge of her personal life.” It looks like the drama will not be slowing down anytime soon.
