‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has a big plan in mind for herself, her family and their future, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is on board with it all. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Mariah shows up at the Chancellor mansion to see that Abby is in a much better mood since the last time that she saw her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah Might Not Be On Board With Abby’s Big Plan
Abby tells her that she and her husband Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) want to have a surrogate carry their fertilized embryo and exclaims that Mariah is their chosen candidate. Unfortunately Mariah doesn’t share in this same excitement as Abby.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Camryn Grimes puts it this way, “Although she’s been in Genoa City for a while, Mariah has all these fluctuating friendships and relationships, so I think the last thing she expects is for people to rely on her. She still has this insecurity and it leads to an honest surprise when she realizes what Abby is about to ask.”
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that Mariah is left absolutely gob smacked by the proposal. Camryn continued, “Their friendship is relatively new. We have to remember where Abby and Mariah started: They didn’t like each other, so this big ask is a far, far cry from that. So, yeah, gob smacked is how I would describe her reaction.”
