‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have found that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is nearing her maternity leave as her baby is due next month.
In 2018 when Wood gave birth to son, Rise, her character was sent to Paris to work at Forrester International until Wood returned from maternity leave.
With the current dramatic storyline surrounding the uncertain paternity of Steffy’s on-screen pregnancy, it’s likely her departure– so Wood can give birth to her baby #2– will be far more sensational.

There will have to be some sort of explanation as to why Steffy isn’t on our screens. This is B&B’s current major storyline so it’s not like it can just be dropped like Steffy’s addiction was when Covid-19 hit and, by the time filming started up again, Wood was pregnant.
So where will Steffy go? And who will she be with?
Firstly, if we are doing the math right, fans should have a few more weeks of Steffy’s scenes which does give time for DNA tests to be (messed with then) revealed. This would also be in time for February sweeps.
If the rumors are true, it will be Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) baby, but Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will switch the results with a little help from his proximity of working at the hospital.
With Steffy receiving the news she hoped for, that her boyfriend Finn is the father, will the couple leave town together?
Tanner Novlan is a busy guy, starring on both The Bold and the Beautiful and having a recurring role on the CW’s Roswell, New Mexico.
If Steffy and Finn leave town together on a fabulous babymoon, this will give time for the couple to work on their relationship without Liam (or his giant photo) tossing his two cents in. It will also give Novlan the opportunity to film his Roswell, New Mexico season 3 scenes.
Of course, in true B&B style, the couple could very well come back hitched after eloping during their time off screen. This would create a nice mess when Steffy inevitably finds out the truth about her baby’s paternity. Hey, this is a soap opera, of course the kid will need a kidney one day that Daddy Finn can’t provide!
Whatever the storyline that has Steffy leaving our screens, we at Daily Soap Dish wish Jacqueline all the luck in the world with her birth. And while we don’t want to hurry her back from the important time with her family, we can’t wait to have her back on our screens as soon as possible!
