CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers love how some nosey busybodies to keep things rolling in Genoa City when the action’s slow.
On the plus side, not all of them are busybodies looking to correct the course of someone’s life or gauge how far a relationship has gone.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 19: Nikki’s aid
In this case, it’s for a good cause as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for help with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
It makes sense given Nikki’s history with drinking, but will Faith be open to hearing what she has to say, or has peer pressure gotten too strong a hold on her?
We don’t think so as Faith has shown a desire to resist, but she also wants to belong.
This should be an interesting back and forth between the two, assuming Nikki agrees and we think she will.
There’s no reason for her not to try to help, but the problem may be the difference in ages. While Nikki may know a few things, it’ll be hard for Faith to relate to her.
Which brings up a valid point about it’d probably be a great idea to have Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) talk with her.
She can at least bridge the gap between the generations and she has Faith’s trust. But that’s probably too simple an answer.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 19: Nate’s warning
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will mean well when he warns Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about the dangers Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) poses, but he’s not coming from a neutral place and this could backfire.
It’s no secret that Nate and Billy have issues with each other, and Lily will know about this. Plus, she has a history with Billy and knows she’s in for an interesting ride.
In the end, we expect things to remain civil, but will Lily start to chafe under everyone telling her what she should do or should prepare for?
Things could get ugly when/if it gets to that, and ‘Young and the Restless’ can’t wait to see how it works out.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 19: Elena’s curious
Like Nate, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) probably has Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)’s best interest at heart, but since it was her infidelity with Nate that ended her and Devon’s relationship, this could be interesting.
Especially when she starts asking about what the future holds for him and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Devon may not feel she has a place to ask him anything about that, and there’s a chance this could turn ugly pretty fast.
