There is a new report that says the reality television star is looking forward to a new 2021 now that she has apparently decided to pull the plug on her marriage to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kanye West. Here’s what you need to know.

Even though Kim herself hasn’t made any comments about the ordeal, insiders close to the mother-of-four says that Kanye’s Presidential run last year was her tipping point. She is tired of constantly having to worry about him and his mental health and instead wants to put the focus back on herself.
“Kim is focusing on the new year and a lot of amazing things that are coming her way,” a source tells ET. “Kim has tried everything she can to make things work with Kanye but it’s not working. Kim has held on to the relationship in hopes of a change and for the sake of the kids, but all signs are pointing to divorce.”
“The opportunity gives her more creative input and will be a fresh start,” the source shares.
And while this divorce certainly won’t be an easy one for the reality television star, at least she has her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, to lean on. In fact, they have been her biggest supporters throughout this entire ordeal.
The tipster added that while “She is sad about it, of course,” the split was also “inevitable” after the difficult year they’ve faced. “She just feels she has done everything in her power to make her marriage work. Even though she has been thinking about divorce for months, she hasn’t filed because she feels terrible for the kids.”
