Miley Cyrus is seeking to forget her dog’s death by turning her focus to her younger sister Noah Cyrus. The singer was in a good mood as she made all the stops to celebrate Noah’s 21st birthday.

In a series of posts on Instagram, Miley showed us just how much affection she has for Noah. In the picture below, Miley is wearing an orange top, and her sister is covered in a white blanket. Miley can be seen cuddling and cradling Noah when she was only seven.

In an emotional caption, Miley wrote: “Happy birthday to an icon living @noahcyrus. I love you baby sister turned big sister. The day you were born, I never knew that one day the roles would be reversed and you would be the one taking care of me.”
So how was Noah there for Miley? Well, by the looks of it, just recently as the death of her dog MJ had a more profound impact than what was envisaged. Miley then went to say this about her sister: “You were such a rockstar thru the experience of losing Mary Jane. I couldn’t have gotten here without you. You lead me to making the hard but right decisions. You’ll have many more of those choices in your own life & I am here for you every step of the way. Love you always.”
As much as we know about Noah’s good side, what is she like when it comes to controversy compared to Miley? Given what Miley later posted, they have more things in common than meets the eye: “Happy 21st. Don’t get near as drunk as I did. I practically missed my own party cause I spent the night over the [toilet and vomiting emojis].”

The emoji’s in the picture above were not just tongue and cheek. Noah has been very open about her marijuana use. The star has been pictured beside vast bags of the drug and was quite nonchalant about it. Just when you thought things could not get crazier, Noah took it a step further.
She was also spotted at the Grammy awards with a joint in her hand next to none other than her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.
