‘The Bachelor’ spoilers alum and newly separated Carly Waddell is addressing rumors and speaking for “the last time” about her split from husband Evan Bass from her freshly saged Divorce Room.
A Divorce Room doesn’t sound nearly as fun as a Red Room, and rightly so. This is the room where Evan told Carly he wanted to file for…you guessed it…a divorce.

In the 8 minute video on her YouTube channel, Carly takes fans on a mini tour of the upstairs of the new house she and Evan bought, but, as she reveals later in the clip, Evan then told her he didn’t want to move in to.
Along with reiterating several times that the spilt was Evan’s idea and not hers, Carly also gave a more definitive timeline; the two called it quits the day after Thanksgiving.
Carly also reveals she and Evan were in therapy for quite a lot of their three year marriage that they really, really tried. She believes the fact they focused on the kids rather than themselves is the catalyst behind the major issues in the marriage.
‘New year, new memories’, Carly cites before saging the room. As she invites only positivity in, Carly wonders how ridiculous she looks.
She needn’t worry, it can’t be worse than her painfully awkward limo introduction when meeting Chris Soules (and Bachelor Nation) on the 19th season of The Bachelor!
Here’s hoping the new year treats Carly and Evan better than the last, and that they can still create a happy home environment for their two adorable kids.
I am sure both Carly and Evan will be watching Matt James, the Bachelor franchise’s first black bachelor as he starts his journey this Monday night at 9pm Eastern on ABC.
