Joe Rogan often speaks about his love for pool and how if not for comedy, he may have tried to play professionally. He also speaks of his favorite film, ‘The Hustler’ quite a bit that tells the story of a pool shark.
Just last week, Rogan also commented on Netflix’s series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’, saying it was one of the best shows on “television” and that it was nearly perfect. However, Rogan made a shocking discovery. It turns out that it’s the same man behind the novels ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ and ‘The Hustler’.

“This makes sense. The Hustler is one of my all time favorite movies, and the book is great too. “The Queen’s Gambit” is my new favorite show and I just found out that Walter Tevis wrote the original story for that as well.”

The Hustler is an absolute masterpiece and The Color of Money was a perfect Followup to it!”.
Netflix’s ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ has taken audiences over by storm and many people are calling it the best show of 2020. To find out that it has the same author as your favorite film/book is a pretty neat discovery and one we can all relate to.
