‘Married At First Sight’ spoilers find that there have been a lot of couples that have stayed together on the show but there have been a few divorces as well. One of the divorces was between Amber Bowles and Matt Gwynne.
The couple was on season nine and although Amber really tried to make things work in their relationship, Matt didn’t seem to want anything to do with her. There were many reasons that this relationship didn’t work, but what really happened?

Amber started to suspect that Matt was cheating on her and even her co-workers said that he was doing her dirty. There were even other cast members that told her they saw him out and about in Charlotte with other women. Things seemed as if they just couldn’t get worse.
At the time, Amber told cameras, “Even though Matt has done some disrespectful things, I still like him and have a connection with him. I don’t want to give up, because to me marriage is forever.”

One of Amber’s friends told her, “The other night I was out at a bar and I saw Matt with another girl. They were definitely focused on each other and it didn’t look good.” These actions eventually are the reason for their downfall and their divorce.
After the divorce, Amber has spoken out to her fans about their marriage. She spoke on the Domenick Nati show and opened up more to fans of Married at First Sight.
She said, “I told my dad like three weeks in I didn’t think it was gonna work. But I didn’t really want to divorce him until I found out he was cheating an that was like, five, six weeks in.”
Matt apparently has a long history of cheating and Amber wished that she had known this all along.
Amber told Nati, “I’ve never heard of him being monogamous. Like, you don’t understand how many messages I got from ex-girlfriends after the show aired of his that were like, ‘Oh my god, we broke up because he cheated. We broke up because he cheated.’ He’s a player. I don’t know how he got through the process. He’s such a liar, play sleaze.”
