Of course, if she’d just open her big mouth, she wouldn’t have to be feeling guilty and Liam and Hope could restart their marriage and get their baby girl back and start raising her but logic seems to operate differently in this world. Of course Flo won’t come clean, she won’t tell anyone about what’s going on, she doesn’t want to do anything to upset her applecart at the Forrester Mansion or destroy her newfound relationship with Wyatt, I guess crying is easier when done in a mansion.

Poor Hope is inconsolable about the end of her marriage, and Mom Brooke will be ready to go into Mama Bear mode over that, but Ridge tries his best to get Brooke to see the silver lining. He thinks that Liam and Steffy getting back together might not be such a bad idea after all, and that Hope and Thomas have a chance of happiness if she keeps stepping into the Mom role with little Douglas (clearly, he’s viewing this whole thing with rose-colored glasses), Brooke won’t like this argument one bit and will definitely not see the bright side of things.

And why would she? This is her daughter’s marriage—her life, we’re talking about and Ridge is casting it all away as if it were some schoolgirl crush. Obviously, as long as his two children, Steffy and Thomas, come out on top he’s okay with any outcome. Which, is really not fair. Sometimes the prize is worth winning and sometimes it isn’t.
Sometimes it takes too much of a toll and this seems to be one of those times. Yes, Thomas and Steffy would stand to benefit if Hope and Liam got a divorce but can he even stand to put himself in Brooke and Hope’s shoes for just a moment? Geeze! Sorry, Ridge, but you’re not coming off in the best of lights here. Will Brooke rip those rose colored glasses from his face? Stay tuned!!!
