‘Dancing With The Stars’ spoilers find that we have seen Cheryl Burke perform with some outstanding partners. She performed well on the 29th season of the show with AJ McLean. She decided to make an appearance on his podcast called Pretty Messed Up and she opened up more about the times that she has been on the show and the so-called curse she has on her dance partners.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers: Cheryl’s History on DWTS

Cheryl began dancing on DWTS in 2006. She has won two of the Mirror Ball trophies in her 15 years on the show and she enjoys being on the show. She has thought about retiring from dancing, but has such a good time with her partners. She has thought about becoming a judge on the show if she ever decides to quit dancing. She would be pretty tough, we’re sure.

Burke enjoyed dancing with AJ and told her fans, “Obviously, I’m so grateful to have AJ. Honestly, his dance experience and his dance ability was amazing.” It is up to Burke to teach her dance partners how to do more ballroom dances and test their abilities. She thought it would be easier to do this with those who already have dancing experience, but found out, it’s not.

She spoke on AJ’s podcast, “People end up thinking ‘You must be taking it easy this season because it looks like your partner can pick up choreography’. I push my partners who have talent. It’s almost like a curse when you get someone with talent for me because then I’m even harder on them.”

She explained a little more, “I become so obsessed and crazy about every detail of the routine. But you can see the difference between someone who just learned his steps and hopefully he can make it through the dance versus someone who’s worked on the detail to where it comes second nature and he can dance it backwards and forwards.”

Burke and McLean are still very close friends and she even helps to host the podcast, Pretty Messed Up with him and Rene Elizondo. The podcast airs each week and you can hear it anywhere you listen to podcasts.

You can continue to follow Burke on social media and for now, it does seem that she will stay on the show in hopes for taking home another Mirror Ball award. Find her on Instagram and on Twitter to see what she is up to these days.
