British Royal Family News find that while Scotland is certainly one of the most hospitable countries in the world, Scottish First Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon doesn’t think that now is a good time to visit, seeing how Covid-19 cases are on the rise both in the country and around the world.

That’s why there’s a new report that suggests Sturgeon is none too pleased over the fact that Prince William and Kate Middleton recently made a pit stop to Edinburgh this week, as she is doing everything she can to keep her citizens healthy and safe at home. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal Family News: Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon Is Super Pissed Over Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Train Tour To Scotland

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently on a two-day tour traveling through the United Kingdom on the Queen’s royal train in the hopes that they can thank as many first line responders and health care workers who have been working feverishly around the clock during this pandemic.

Kensington Palace released a press release that says the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will carry out a three-day Royal Train tour  “ahead of the Christmas holidays to pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond in response to the coronavirus pandemic.”

Unfortunately, not everyone thinks that this is a good idea. According to The Scotsman, Nicola Sturgeon certainly didn’t mince her words when she was asked for some clarity on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s tour and how some people have suggested it is in breach of cross-border travel restrictions which are currently being enforced in Scotland.

Sturgeon replied with, “The royal visit is a matter for the royal household and the arrangements around it, and I think any questions of those arrangements, should be directed to the royal household. The Scottish Government was advised about the intention to visit and we made sure that the royal household were aware, as you would expect, of all of the restrictions in place in Scotland so that that could inform both the decision and the planning of the visit but I think any questions about that should be directed to the royal household.”

So far Prince William and Kate Middleton have not responded to the criticism.
