Jennifer Lopez admits that she was feeling the blues this year – just like the majority of us – because of the coronavirus lockdown. Here’s what she has to say.
In a new interview with DC radio station El Zol 107.9, the hit maker admitted that the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus has been just as tough on her as it has been on everyone else.
She said, “I think everybody had a moment when they were depressed or they were scared about what was going to happen. [I] had a lot of moments where I felt really bad.”

If that weren’t enough, Jennifer also said that it was tough on her family, and particularly her daughter Emme.
She recalled, “Emme came to my bed and was crying . . . ‘Why is this happening? I miss my friends. Why is this happening in our life?’ Everything that was going on — there were protests and a lot of things they were seeing.”
Jennifer added that she recognizes “things need to change.” “And when things change, sometimes it hurts a bit,” she said. “But it will always be for the good of everyone.”
Just last month, both Jennifer and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez publicly announced their endorsement for the now President-elect Joe Biden. The glamorous couple held a virtual chat with Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, in which they voiced their support for the candidate.
During their chat, Jennifer and Alex discussed about their concerns for the economy, the coronavirus pandemic, racism, and much more.
“We’re thrilled and we’re excited to vote. I think our voice has never been more important,” Rodriguez said in the video posted to Biden’s social media on Friday. “We want to come together as a team to defeat Covid and to rebuild this U.S. economy that needs us all so much.”
Lopez added: “For me, it’s unifying the nation again. Getting rid of this hate, thinking about my kids walking around in a world where, you know it’s OK to be racist or prejudiced because our administration says it’s OK.”
