As 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After continues on, we have seen a lot of issues already. One of the biggest issues has been with Yara Zaya and her husband, Jovi Dufren’s mother, Gwen Eymard. She has a very distinct parenting style that she wants to use with their new baby, Mylah Angelina.
This style isn’t at all like Yara’s and she is pretty sure that her mother-in-law is overstepping her boundaries. Yara feels that Gwen has gotten very pushy lately and isn’t exactly sure how to feel about her right now. The trailer for the new episode shows a lot more drama than we first thought.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Gwen and Yara’s Relationship
When Gwen and Yara first met, it seemed as if Gwen thought Yara was just in this for the green card. We saw a small conflict with them when Gwen pretty much wanted to take control of Yara and Jovi’s wedding. Yara wasn’t sure that she wanted the wedding that Gwen was trying to push on her.
She knew that she wanted to marry Jovi, but told Gwen that if her family couldn’t be at the wedding, how was it fair for Jovi’s whole family to attend. This really bothered Gwen because she was raised much differently and felt that all of Jovi’s family should go to the big wedding.
Although Gwen’s attitude at the beginning was a little tough toward Yara, fans really have started to love her. She has become one of the favorites on the show and now that she is on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Yara is still having trouble with her ways, but this time, it’s all about how Gwen thinks she should raise her child.
Of course, this is a touchy subject for any new mother and Yara is making it clear that Gwen needs to watch herself. When Yara talked about Gwen and the baby, she told cameras, “I want her help, but I don’t want her to tell me what to do. She is too pushy.
She is telling me what to do while looking after Mylah.She’s never been outside of the US. She’s never been to Europe. There are different ways to raise a baby.” These new ways may also scare Gwen a little bit and this could be one of the reasons that Gwen is trying to be so pushy.
No matter what, Yara is standing her ground with Gwen and she has shown that she will be the one who raises her child with Jovi. Make sure you keep up with Yara and Jovi on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
