‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share for Thursday, April 18

Looks like we’re back into the character building episodes as there’s going to be some debate dividing the head at Chancellor-Winters and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be forced to stand her ground.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a falling out over their son’s treatment and Adam will start to spin out over his guilt.

This looks like an episode that’s better suited for comfort food than popcorn, so let’s grab some and settle in.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Being petty

It was bound to come up at some point, and with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) suing them for wrongful termination with his co-firey Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) representing him, some discussions will be had.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that there are different points of view on Lily firing Daniel and on whether they should give him his game back or not.

Lily will stand her ground as she wants to make sure he pays for betraying her, which will prove Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s point that she’ll look petty if Heather wants to spin it that way in court.

To be honest, her decision could very well be what ends her career at Chancellor-Winters, and the fact Devon Winters (Bryton James) is standing by her no matter what won’t do him any good in the public eye either.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Adam needs help

It looks like Adam and Chelsea will learn their son is dealing with guilt over their problems and wonder why he was born.

It’s the type of news that will decimate any parent, but given what Chelsea and Adam have been through it’s going to hit them even harder, and they’re going to blame themselves for not seeing their son needed help.

We think Chelsea will hold it together better while Adam continues to spin out and blame himself for everything he’s done.

This has potential to be another watershed moment for Adam as he’ll have to deal with his own insecurities and trauma to be able to help his son, and he’ll probably reach out to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for help.

There’s a good chance this could lead to a relationship tease between them, but we doubt Sharon will go down that road and will make sure boundaries are set.

How bad will this look for Lily if she pushes ahead? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
