‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that realizing an assumed dead daughter is alive is a miracle. But after the joyous glow subsides, dealing with reality in Genoa City, Wisconsin, takes hold.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was once married to Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). But that one-time married couple divorced a quarter-century ago. She has been married to four men since.
Notably, Cole was pre-Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Peck’s character shares few traits with the character Thompson now plays except for one. Both men loved Victoria and still hold a place in their hearts for her. Cole is also the father of a child she had.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Nate Hastings Is Not Far Removed
There was good chemistry between Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). But soapy circumstances intervened.
Along with the above, Nate broke from Victoria. That could imply that she could attempt to reconnect with him. Alternatively, their split could be indefinite or permanent.
Nate was wrongfully terminated by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and could pursue a case. But who would challenge the Moustache’s power and influence or be able to overcome it?
So, for the time being, Nate and Victoria are done.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Claire Grace Needs Time To Heal
Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) committed numerous crimes and, thankfully, was arrested. The Newman family member she most greatly abused was her niece, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
The most accurate reference to Erin’s character would be to call her Eve Nicole. That is the name her parents gave her when she was born. Eve honored Cole’s deceased mother, and Nicole was a bow to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Zenk and Erin delivered terrific performances and have earned applause all around. Zenk, late of As the World Turns, Erin, late of General Hospital, and before that, Abby Newman on Y&R, created memorable scenes in a great storyline that continues.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Love Can Eventually Be Rekindled
The setup is in play. Claire’s reveal as Eve means Victoria and Cole‘s paths will remain tied for a while.
Victoria recently became single. Cole is not known to be currently involved with anyone. So, viewers see the clear potential.
Cole recently questioned Claire’s loyalty after Jordan kidnapped her from Genoa City Memorial Hospital. Victoria defended their daughter and mentioned their talk, with the maternal bond noted. Soon, viewers will see if a paternal bond forms and the interplay between this restored family on Y&R.
