Prince Harry is reportedly lonely and isolated in California, while Meghan Markle is living it up and socializing. The Duchess plans to isolate him from his family and friends so they can become more involved in Hollywood life.
Harry Doesn’t Have Friends in the US
Harry doesn’t have his drinking chums or any family in California to anchor him. He has no one to unwind or relax with, and the Duke has also become highly dependent on Meghan for some semblance of a social life.
Phil Dampier, who has written about the royal family for 30 years, explains that Harry “never seems to be with a group of friends but with corporate types, or people he works with.”
Everyone saw pictures of Harry and Meghan at the Beyonce concert, with him appearing bored and disinterested, playing with his phone the whole time.
He doesn’t seem to be adjusting well to his new life, but of course, Meghan is just peachy. She seems to have control in almost every aspect.
The truth is that most people can acknowledge when their plans do not go as they had intended and do what they need to do to rectify the situation.
Harry and Meghan are both adept at being the victim, which is part of what made him want to write “Spare.”
Harry also wanted money, but honestly, he blamed his family for not accepting Meghan’s lack of enthusiasm for royal life, not letting them live in the castle, and not giving them financial support after leaving England.
Prince Harry Hurt His Family
He could try and apologize to his family for humiliating them, but they may never forgive him for his tell-all memoir in which he basically trashed them. He deeply hurt Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip.
Harry doesn’t want to take responsibility for causing his grandparents pain, and with Christmas coming up, he has nowhere to turn but his wife.
Harry is reportedly considering returning to the UK, even though he most likely wouldn’t be welcomed now. He’s burned too many bridges. Harry has tried to make new friends, but he misses the social circle he had in England.
However, rumor has it that not even his old friends in the UK want anything to do with him anymore. Perhaps they think that shame, disgrace, and defeat are contagious.
Meanwhile, Meghan tries to keep Harry from being too close to his past relationships. The mother of Prince Harry and Prince William’s childhood friends, Lady Colin Campbell, believes that Harry’s isolation is due to Meghan’s super controlling and manipulative personality.
She may be isolating him so that he has no one in his life except her. It’s what many narcissists tend to do. She wants to be the center of his world.
Prince Harry may want to focus on his charity work to feel less lonely, maybe without so much fanfare behind it. When so much press is generated by a single event that takes the focus off the charity and puts it on the person who is supposedly doing “good works,” it comes across as insincere.
While Prince Harry’s charity work is certainly commendable, he looks like he does it more for the cameras than the cause.
