Some would accuse Taylor Swift of being a persistent figure who has dominated media attention and caused deprived teenage girls who can’t get tickets to her show to cry and sob uncontrollably.
Some would go further and accuse Taylor of selling out and making the switch from country to pop for the sole purpose of packing stadiums full of fans and selling hordes of albums.
And there are, of course, those who accuse her of creating fake romantic relationships to have something to write about and get people talking.
Angry Republican Accuses Taylor Swift of Witchcraft
Angry republican Kandiss Taylor has accused Taylor Swift of witchcraft. She is the only person so far to make this odd complaint.
Note: Kandiss Taylor is a MAGA influencer as in Make America Great Again and is a Trump supporter, Her campaign slogan was ‘JESUS, GUNS, AND BABIES.’
According to Newsweek, Taylor Swift took to Instagram on October 19th to thank her fans for coming to see her Eras tour concert movie.
Taylor expressed her joy to her fans,
“I have been watching videos of you guys in the theaters dancing and prancing and recreating choreography, creating inside jokes, casting spells, getting engaged, and just generally creating the exact type of joyful chaos we’re known for.”
It is a nice, normal comment with much light-hearted gratitude and cheerfulness. Then, in response, an angry, angry Republican took to Instagram and had this to say, “Did you really just praise your fans for making videos with your music and “casting spells?”
“What is wrong with you? I was a fan from day one and loved how much you grew in your singing ability. I love that you write your own music.”
She goes on to say that she and her daughter would dance around to her songs when she was younger. They would sing and have a blast. She even took her daughter to a few of her concerts.
Then she gets into it,
“I have heard from others that attended this last tour that you had some satanic nods in your show. I didn’t want to believe it. After all, I know you’ve claimed to love Jesus. I know you claimed to be a Christian. Now, you’ve not only drifted and backslid. You’re celebrating witchcraft. You’re influencing innocent minds to be enticed by the dark side of spirituality. The Word of God that you once confessed is clear.”
“God Breathed on This”
Kandiss explains that instead of poisoning young minds against Christ, Taylor Swift should tie a millstone around her neck.
“I am so disappointed. I am literally SMH.” She wants Taylor to repent and pray for forgiveness. “You have been gifted this huge platform. It didn’t just happen. God breathed on this.”
Kandiss says that God can take it all away at any moment and leave her to her “witchcraft.” “Let’s see how much Lucifer cares about your career. I promise. He doesn’t.
Kandiss may have taken offense when Taylor said they were “casting spells.” Leave it to an extreme right-wing conservative to pull the plug on fun. Nothing against Republicans, but when you are going as far as to accuse Taylor Swift of “witchcraft” because she is just being descriptive with her language and speaking from the heart, you should really get a grip.
As one of Swift’s fans asked Kandiss, “What century are you from?”
