Russell Brand, best known for his roles in the movies, “Get Him to the Greek,” and “Forgetting Sara Marshall,” has been accused of committing heinous acts against women, including non-consensual activity, sexual assault, and emotional abuse.
This activity allegedly took place during the height of his fame.
Four women have come forward saying that Russell Brand sexually assaulted them between 2006 and 2013. There has been a probe by the Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches.
He also has allegations against him that he exhibited controlling, cruel, and voracious behavior toward these women.
Russell Brand Denies Allegations
Brand posted a social media message late Friday night stating that there were some “Very serious criminal allegations made against him,” but none of the accusations were true.
The message lasted for two minutes and forty-five seconds, during which time he claimed that any relationships he had during his “time of promiscuity” were “consensual.”
An alleged victim has claimed that Brand forced her up against a wall and raped her in 2012. The woman said that Brand, who is a lot taller than she and said that she couldn’t move.
Brand allegedly was not wearing a condom while committing this heinous act. The woman, who called herself Nadia, sent Brand a text afterward, saying to him, “When a girl says NO, it means no.”
Brand allegedly replied with, “Very sorry.” Screenshots of the text show these messages.
Nadia decided to report the sexual assault, but someone had informed the Los Angeles Police Department that she had visited a Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica. Another victim claims that she was 16 years old when Brand was emotionally and sexually abusive to her, and an incident occurred in which Brand forced the girl to perform anal sex on him.
The two met when she was shopping on Oxford Street, and Brand came over to her, searched her bag, and pulled out a dress. “Will you be wearing this on our date?” he asked.
She also said that he often referred to her as “the child” during the relationship, which lasted for three months.
Brand’s “Dark Behavior”
A third victim accused Brand of sexually assaulting her and threatened her with “legal action” if she ever told anyone.
A fourth victim said that Brand assaulted and physically and emotionally abused her. Brand reportedly assaulted her after an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
He became furious when she tried to resist him and screamed at her.
The 16-year-old, now a 31-year-old, said that Brand would make everything look like a joke to his audience and play up his womanizer image. However, this only covered some of his “dark behavior.”
Brand’s ex-girlfriend wrote a detailed account of her relationship with him in her book, “kNot: An Entanglement with a Celebrity.” She talks about how Brand sexually assaulted her.
Not surprisingly, Brand received support on social media from misogynists like Elon Musk and men accused of similar crimes as Brand.
Andrew Tate, under investigation for sex trafficking, backed him 100 percent.
Brand urged his fans to stand with him, saying, “I need my voice along with your voice.” It’s pretty sick stuff.
