In the latest episode of Meghan Markle’s podcast, Archetypes, she spoke to Andy Cohen, Trevor Noah, and Judd Apatow. Titled Man-ifesting a Cultural Shift, it was the first episode to feature men and focused on the labels that hold women back and how men in the media can influence great cultural conversations. During her chat with Cohen, the former royal revealed that she tried, but failed, to get booked on his hit show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, before she landed her role in the hit TV show Suits.

Markle told Cohen, “I was so eager to be on your show because I was such a Housewives fan at the time, and I just couldn’t get booked, Andy!”
Meghan says she enjoyed The Housewives reality TV series, executively produced by Cohen, but has since stopped watching due to the “level of drama” in her own life.
Cohen later said, “It’s so embarrassing. I mean, it’s one of the great mistakes in our 13 years. Can you imagine if there were footage of Meghan Markle talking about the Housewives floating around? I mean, I really blew it there.”
Meanwhile, the Harry and Meghan trailer from Netflix is sure getting a lot of attention. The documentary has been described as an “at-home” style show, which, according to Netflix, “explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.”
The six-episode series will be released in two halves. Volume one will air on December 8 – exactly three months after the death of Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II – and volume two will air on December 15. The first trailer for the docuseries was released on the second day of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s high-profile trip to the US. It featured never before-seen photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
