On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Tyray was devastated to hear that the woman he has been talking to for four years could be a man. He met Carmella on a dating site and they have been exchanging texts and photos for years.
The producers did some research only to find out that she is not who she says she is. Carmella is a man and Tyray is still trying to process what is happening. Part of him has this glimmer of hope that she could be real.

Tyray fell in love with Carmella and it turns out, he may have been catfished for money. He is no longer working, but takes care of his mother, who had a stroke and cannot live on her own. He admitted to the cameras that he has been sending her money.

He mentioned that she has been asking him for money since 2019 and when he told her that he was broke, she ghosted him. She came back around in 2020 and they started talking again. She once again asked him for money.
That is when he began to send her around $50 to $100 a month, even though he really couldn’t afford to do so. No matter how much money he sent to Carmella, she was constantly asking for more.
Of course, as soon as Tyray heard the news that she was catfishing him, he immediately went to contact her. From the looks of it, she has not opened these messages. He kept checking his phone to see if she has seen them, but there has been nothing so far.
He told the cameras, “I’m going back to all the past where she, like, said I love you and it’s weird but I still kind of feel like maybe, she’s real or something. I still feel that connection. I still have a glimmer of hope that maybe it was just someone else who had her phone or something, maybe she was hacked, I don’t know. I still have a little bit in me that says this might all just be a misunderstanding. I want to get to the bottom of everything.”
We all hope that Tyray can realize that Carmella may not be the woman of his dreams.
