‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to keep the ball rolling and this looks like it’s going to be a fun character building episode.
On the top of the list is some Newman family drama as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) happily sits back and allows his children to go after each other to prove who is superior all the while claiming he wants them to get along.
Then there’s Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and his investigation hitting a snag. The question is who sabotaged it and why?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 23 Spoilers: Ready for another round?
On some level, Victor had to know this was coming and he refused to admit it. Or he fully expected it and didn’t feel the need to do more than give a half hearted effort to keep the peace.
He just understand why Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) can’t get over their animosity and rivalry for his favor, and at some point it’s going to blow up into something far worse than he can handle.
To prevent that, he’ll play both sides by trying to talk them each down while knowing it won’t work, and also giving warnings as needed.
In this round, he’ll warn Adam that Victoria expects his attack and will be ready for him. Adam may ask if he tipped her off and Victor will replay there was no need. He’s obvious in his intentions and that’s why he should take Victor’s advice.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 23 Spoilers: An inside job
‘Young and the Restless’ are curious how much more sideways can Chance’s investigation go?
He comes across as egotistical and inept, and then takes offense when his work is questioned. But not he’s going to face a bigger problem when he discovers someone sabotaged his investigation.
This could be numerous things, but to us is sounds like someone with him or access to him and his files will hinder him in some way.
He’ll either be ordered to focus on proving whether Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive or not (we’re seriously surprise NO ONE CHECKED HER DENTAL RECORDS!) or evidence will be tampered with.
We have a feeling it’ll be the former and it’ll come from Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) since she already told him to look into that possibility.
He may be doing so, but keeping it on the down low and that may not be acceptable to Crickett.
