‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers show that there are increasing numbers of hints regarding Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) ultimate fake death ploy.
Phyllis is plotting with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and hopes to make Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) pay for all the misery she’s caused, so that’s going to require some drastic moves.
There appears to be a funeral or memorial ceremony approaching based on behind-the-scenes photos of the cast dressed in black attire. A large number of the main characters from Y&R gathered to shoot some group scenes that will air soon.
Phyllis’ portrait appears to be fuzzy in some other photographs that have leaked online. Everyone appears to be gathering to pay their respects to Phyllis, but she won’t actually be gone.

The latest dialogue supports the logical conclusion that Phyllis’ faked death is imminent. Phyllis informed Jeremy that this was a life and DEATH situation for her, so it could be building to an apparently grim fate.
Likewise, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) told Phyllis that she needed her to stop or she needed her GONE.
When Summer learns that Phyllis “died,” she will eventually regret saying that it felt like another major anvil. Naturally, Phyllis’ fabricated demise might not be the current strategy with Jeremy.
It’s possible that it will be a last option or another choice that is made in the fervor of the moment.
However, Phyllis seemed quite moved by Summer’s remark that she wanted her gone, so perhaps she is already preparing to fulfill Summer’s desire.
Jeremy might even kidnap Phyllis if their relationship breaks down because he’s so focused on stopping Diane.
If Phyllis has a change of heart and attempts to wiggle out of this, Jeremy may not let her. Whatever the case, there are too many “fatal” hints regarding Phyllis to disregard, and if that happens, Diane will likely be held accountable for her death.
