On a recent episode of Darcey & Stacey, Darcey Silva took a brooch from a bowl in which she was storing her jewelry, prompting viewers to ask questions about the disorganized manner in which she kept her valuable items.
Darcey & Stacey: Darcey Silva Mocked Over Her Jewelry Bowl-‘Tacky, This Scream Fake’
In the fourth season of Darcey & Stacey, the 90 Day Fiancé franchise star, Darcey, sought assistance from a professional matchmaker after her split from Georgi Rusev. Nonetheless, the two have had conflicting opinions on various matters, ranging from Darcey’s filtered dating profile pictures to her daring ensembles.
In an episode, Darcey and her matchmaker eventually agreed on a revealing dress which Darcey embellished with a brooch to make it less daring. Darcey was the one who thought of including the brooch in her look, and she and her matchmaker had to look through all the diamonds in her jewelry container to find it.
However, viewers were quick to mock her for her disorganized gems, as shown in the picture here. One person wrote: “I worked for a high end jewelry store and nothing left the store with a tag.
“That’s tacky plus the items should be cleaned after the tag is removed because there’s sometimes residue. Tags were not needed because every piece came with an official appraisal for insurance. This screams fake, as usual.”
In addition to Darcey’s dubious storage practices, viewers were also suspicious of the price tags still attached to the pieces of jewelry in the bowl. The tags indicated that each piece was worth up to $9K, which prompted some commentators to suggest that real jewelry of such value wouldn’t have such tags still attached.
The following comments confirmed as much: “No high end jewelry comes with price tags attached… boxes and velvet jewelry pillows yes..but Price tags?! Absolutely not. Tags aren’t even on the boxes.”
