A source has said that the titles of royalty for Archie and Lilibet, the children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have to be earned and not just given.
Source Claims Archie And Lilibet Have To EARN Royal Titles-‘The Royals Need To Know That They Can Trust Harry And Meghan’
After the demise of the late Queen Elizabeth II, the Sussexes’ youngsters elevated in the order of succession and as the grandkids of the current ruler King Charles III, they have the authorisation to be perceived as prince/princess and are entitled to the HRH status.
This is very significant since the HRH status does come with benefits. Possessing the title of an “HRH” grants a working royal a salary as well as official protection and safety. Furthermore, people are obliged to bow or curtsy when an individual having the HRH title is close by.
However, since Charles has taken the throne, there has not been an announcement on how the children will be perceived moving forward. Harry and Meghan, however, have not been silent about their grievances against the firm, as shown by their Neflix docuseries and the Duke’s memoir, Spare.
With that being said, a source has suggested that these attacks have to be considered when looking at the issue of titles. A source confirmed the following: “The matter of titles is still up in the air. The feeling is that the titles need to be earned.
“The royals need to know that they can trust Harry and Meghan not to keep damaging the reputation of the family.” Reports have also recently surfaced claiming that Charles desires for Harry and Meghan to join his coronation ceremony.
It has been reported that the King has spoken to the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby about a possible deal that would enable his son and daughter-in-law to take part in the event, despite the disputes caused by Harry’s autobiography. With that being said, there is plenty at play here.
