CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers suggests that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. James) has a secret plan. No one is exactly sure why he returned to Genoa City. Trevor doesn’t have any credibility though. No one trusts him and everyone thinks that he is up to no good. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) gets sucked into his embrace but then is appalled to find Jabot’s financial records hidden in his hotel room. She leaves him, planning to have nothing to do with him ever again. But when Tucker places a call to her in Europe, it’s obvious that he has something in mind.

Tucker McCall’s company is in trouble. Newman Enterprises has done some snooping and knows that he has incredible debt and his company is in danger of folding. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are chomping at the bit to buy up his debt and gain control of his company. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has been doing the behind-the-scenes research and knows that McCall’s business is ripe for the taking. He is advising Victor, Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about what steps to take next. With Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) announcing that they are ready to launch Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming platform, McCall is losing something else that he hoped might save his company.

With Tucker‘s call to Ashley and his need to explain everything to her, it is possible that instead of procuring Jabot’s financial records to try to ruin them, Tucker wants them to invest in his business and help clear some of his debt. Maybe he is hoping that because of his relationship with Ashley, he can have someone he cares about in his corner. He is definitely aware of his serious financial issues. Perhaps he thinks that a connection with the Abbott family business will be preferable to anyone else in Genoa City. While Tucker isn’t really known for asking for help and support from anyone, maybe he has to put swindling behind him.
