Buckingham Palace has officially declared that King Charles III’s niece, Princess Eugenie, is going to have a second baby.

The newborn will take the 13th spot in succession to the British crown. Eugenie is already a mother having gotten married to Jack Brooksbank back in 2018. They welcomed their first child, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, in 2021.
With that being said, the firm could not be any happier by the news. In an official statement on behalf of Buckingham Palace, a representative said the following: “The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”
Much in the same way, Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, welcomed a baby girl, Sienna Elizabeth, into her family in 2021. However, these moments have been accompanied by turbulence.
This joyous occasion comes after a difficult time for the royals, when the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, released a very revealing memoir, Spare, about his life. In addition, in 2019, Prince Andrew had to step away from his royal duties due to his alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein and the sexual assault allegations that emerged concerning Virginia Giuffre.
But after having managed to come out of that on the other side, Eugenie could not have been any happier. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Eugenie shared a picture of herself being kissed on her baby bump by her son. She had a massive smile on her, as it was clearly a happy time.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.” The fans on social media were delighted by the news. And in the process of doing so, they wished the family well moving forward.
