‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) has decided to break away from the show and concentrate on other projects while maintaining one foot in the door. Amanda departed the show following the cheating controversy involving Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), and while she is still a part of the program, we will see her a lot less.
She had become a vital element of the show and a character who, like Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), was becoming increasingly connected with the inner workings of Genoa City. Unfortunately, she may not be back full-time. Morgan will miss a lot about not being around the show every day, and Soap Opera Digest spoke with her about it, specifically asking what daily habit she will miss the most. Morgan replied, Chatting with the hair and makeup people. They really become like your family.”

Another question Mishael answered was what her favorite scene was, which we believed would be difficult to pinpoint, yet she answered confidently, “Definitely the scene with her mom, Naya, which I think instrumental in me winning my [Lead Actress Daytime] Emmy. Amanda really put this woman in her place and didn’t hold back. And to connect with another actor on a deeper level like I did was Ptosha [Storey, ex-Naya] was an amazing experience.”
Amanda had the opportunity to interact with a variety of personalities, and one of my favorite storylines was her and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She did not, however, get to work with everyone as much as she had hoped. She wished to collaborate further with Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin).
Morgan stated, “I feel like our characters have kind of tippy-toed around each other without getting into anything heavy. When I came back as a lawyer, I was really excited about working with Christian but it never really happened.”
