British Royal News says that Piers Morgan is making it pretty clear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two people that he will never, ever break bread with. The British television personality went on the record to slam Harry and Meghan as “deluded narcissists” after a trailer for their Netflix docuseries came out this week. Here’s what you need to know.
While a day hasn’t gone by that Piers hasn’t said something negative about the Sussexes, he went off on them in his latest column for The Sun. He wrote, “Given all his bleating about privacy and the media trading off Diana and the royals, it’s hard to imagine a worse kind of grotesquely hypocritical exploitation than Harry now brazenly using his dead mother to flog a reality kiss-and-tell TV series because he needs to justify the Netflix gazillions.”
Piers Morgan Calls Harry and Meghan ‘Deluded Narcissists’
Piers also didn’t like that Netflix used his voice in the trailer. It happened to be one of the few times he had something nice to say about Meghan. He could be heard commenting about Harry and Meghan’s 2018 royal wedding when he said, “She’s becoming a royal rock star.”
And while Piers says that he was a fan of the Sussexes in the beginning, that all changed the moment the mudslinging began. He said, “I can’t think of a dirtier game than a rich, spoiled brat son constantly publicly trashing his father and the rest of his family, just to make even more money. All they can do is wait for the latest sickening barrage to be broadcast and as with the Oprah onslaught, silently attempt to pick up the reputation-shredding pieces in the aftermath.”
So far Harry and Meghan haven’t made any comments about the criticism, but it’s doubtful that they will. The first three episodes of Harry and Meghan come out on December 8 while the remaining three after that come out December 15th. Watch this space.
