This comes after she paid tribute to her sister Jamie Lynn Spears on Instagram. The confusion stems from the singer’s public feud with her younger sister – which included a cease-and-desist letter following Jamie’s tell-all book. Here’s what you need to know.
The singer captioned the photos of Jamie, shared on her 41st birthday: “It’s my b-day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking about you … congratulations on being so brave, inspiring, and showing guts and glory in your show !!! You ain’t alone … if anybody knows what that feels like … I get it … My baby sister !!! I love you !!! [sic]”

The singer also shared how husband Sam Asghari spoilt her on her birthday while she battled the flu – she later removed the post – and gave a special shoutout to her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, which she shares with Kevin Federline, who she’s also been publicly feuding with.
“Britney are you even free?” one fan asked as she wrote: “To both of my boys … I love you … I would die for you !!!”
Back in August, Kevin Federline claimed that the sons he shares with Spears – Sean Preston (16) and Jayden James (15) – have chosen not to see their mother and decided not to attend her wedding in June. Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, spoke out against the claims via their Instagram stories. “It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children,” she wrote.
Federline posted clips on Instagram from four years ago, which he captioned: “I cannot sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”
