‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that we can see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) talking to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about some of his lady troubles in a teaser for the next week. With Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at each other’s throats, Jack has had his share of problems lately.
Adam, however, confides in Jack about his love for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and how he feels like he really dropped the ball in a pairing that doesn’t happen frequently but that viewers frequently adore. However, in his infinite wisdom, Jack merely advises Adam to go for it.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Confides His Love For Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) To Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)
We all admired the spark that we witnessed between Adam and Sally, so when they broke up, we were heartbroken—not to mention the fact that she immediately went to sleep in the office with his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)!
Although Sally seems to have made it very plain that she doesn’t want anything to do with Adam, there has been a lot of stress as a result, so Nick and Sally have chosen to break off whatever it was they had. This may allow Adam back in. But is that what she actually means?
Although he was a sweet and charming man, I believe she understood deep down that what she was doing with Nick wasn’t right. Possibly because of this, she is finding it so difficult to accept Adam’s return. She loves him so much that she would be irreparably hurt and unable to move on if something were to happen again.
Despite my opinion that the “I love you too much” defense is pointless and ineffective, I believe she will finally come to understand her intense affection for Adam. They cannot possibly keep these two apart for an extended period of time. At that, spectators might revolt.
