Bethenny Frankel has slammed those criticising her new podcast ‘ReWives.’

The former star of the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ has not made herself very popular after being very outspoken against the show. And as part of that process, her podcast is designed to bring on celebrities to have conversations by using some of the most infamous episodes from the housewives franchise as a way to comment on real life issues.
That naturally did result in commenting or mocking certain aspects of the show, which may result in other housewives being impacted. With that being said, some housewives had been very vocal about their disapproval of the podcast.
Carole Radziwill had this to say: “She did build her brand by trashing& mocking women specifically the HWs & Betheny [sic] always returns to what she does best.”
While Luann de Lesseps remarked: “It’s pretty sad and pathetic that she has to resort to ‘Housewives’ because of all of her failed pivots since the ‘Housewives.”
Those comments did not sit very well with Bethenny, which is why she wanted to clear up any misconceptions that may have emerged. She expanded on how she wanted to get her own side of the story across. After all, she was not part of the editing on the franchise.
In addition, given that it was her podcast, she had every right to control how things came across. In response to the criticism, Bethenny remarked: “It’s absolutely part of my history.
“And as I said before, I don’t have amnesia, and you gotta dance with the one who brung you, so this is my story, my podcast, my perspective.” Bethenny will continue to stand her ground, but this does pose the risk of her alienating herself from those connected with the show.
