Jennifer Aniston has opened up on her fertility struggles with the news that she has been engaging in IVF.

The star’s comments were made in response to claims that she never intended to have children in her life. This was particularly since she had been in high-profile relationships with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, which both ended in tears without any children being conceived.
But for all the claims that were being directed her way, Aniston wanted to let everybody know in no uncertain terms that she did everything in her power to try and get pregnant at one point.
In an interview with Allure, she said: “[It was] hard s–t. If it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be. That’s why I have such gratitude for all those s–tty things. [I was] going through IVF [and] drinking Chinese teas.”
Despite that being the case, Jennifer has yet to have children. And given that she is 53-years-old and clearly not getting any younger, the chances of that happening are very slim. Not only that, but since she is allegedly single, that has added another barrier in her attempt to do so.
With that being said, it appears that Jennifer has accepted the notion that she will not be able to have children. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I was throwing everything at it.
“I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
The fans on social media felt that the time for her to have children had also passed. And in the process, people felt she could have done more to make it happen. One person wrote: “Is this selfishness, that she never considered freezing eggs 20 plus years ago when she knew she had issues getting pregnant?”
