Carrie Ann Inaba has looked back on former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant Aaron Carter following his death.

Aaron passed away at the age of 34 after the authorities received a call from the house sitter in which they had allegedly been informed that someone may have drowned in a bathtub.
And given that Aaron had created so many memories with Carrie, it has understandably been a difficult time for her since she was a judge on the show during his stint. Aaron appeared on the ninth season of the show with professional dance partner, Karina Smirnoff.
And in the process of doing so, it was clear that Aaron had a lot of talent. He ended up navigating towards the latter stages of the show, as they ended up in fifth place. Not only that, but Aaron’s performances also inspired his brother Nick Carter to compete on the show.
Nick ended up outdoing his brother Aaron, but it was not enough to win the competition, as he ended as a runner up with his professional dance partner Sharna Burgess. With that being said, Carrie could not help but recall the huge impact that Aaron had on the show.
In her comments, she said: “When he was on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ he was one of the brightest lights. He was one of the people who always came [up to me] behind the scenes – whether there’s rules in place or not.
“Like, you were not supposed to talk to the judges and he didn’t let that stop him.” Clearly, Aaron had a great impact on the show. That is why the best way to remember him is through the memories he had created.
